The Steeles Tavern Manor Bed and Breakfast was originally built in 1916 by Irene Steele Searson in the town of Steeles Tavern, Virginia. In the tradition of her ancestors, she opened her home to accommodate tourists with “good home cooking and modern facilities” until the 1940s. Since then, the property has gone through several cycles of conversion between private residence and public lodging until its most recent conversion into a bed and breakfast in 2000, when it was completely renovated with modern amenities expected by today’s travelers.
Three cabins were added to the property in the early 2000s and two more were added in 2021, all of which are fully self-contained including kitchens and private hot tubs. There are currently a total of 10 available guest rental units.
This Select Registry ™ facility rests on just over 50 well manicured acres, which are available to cabin and Manor guests alike. Public areas abound, including multiple decks, an in-ground pool, fire pit, tranquil fishing pond, peaceful sitting areas, and a walking trail along Marl Creek.
